IDEN TITY IN THE FATHER'S LOVE KNOWING OUR IDENTITY IN THE FATHER'S LOVE IS A KEY FOUNDATION TO PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL HEALTH. It starts as truths that we learn, know, memorize, and declare, but progresses into a deep seated understanding that affects everything we do and the way we walk through life. We are transformed in our mindset of how we see ourselves and our gifts, our world around us and our good Father in heaven. Very quickly we cease to be concerned about the gifts we don’t have in abundance…jealousy goes to the wayside, discontentment and lies (about who we are and how we have to perform to be loved) have no place in our life, and joy abounds with this new freedom! There is so much more room for compassion and service to others. Then missionary discipleship through God’s love takes on a reality because we respond like the woman at the well, encountering true love in the person of Jesus Christ, bursting out with joy to tell others what Jesus has done for us! Our testimony becomes a ripple that goes out and we are part of Christianizing the culture around us. This testimony literally means: What Jesus has done, He will do again! INNER HEALING MINISTRY INNER HEALING YIELDS SUCH AMAZING FRUIT OF NEW LIFE AND NEW FREEDOMS, EVEN AFTER DECADES OF STRUGGLE. We provide inner healing sessions (usually about 1.5 hours) with a team of two…a leader, and an intercessor. You can request 1-2 sessions with any of our staff or auxiliary support team members elsewhere in the state. The team is trained to provide a safe, confidential, and casual environment, in person or on Zoom, whereupon you, as the guest, can communicate when you would like breaks, your needs, etc. We use two models that are both very wonderful. Both help you break free from lies you have come to believe about yourself and God. You will experience new freedoms in forgiving yourself and others as you break down walls such as anger, anxiety, trauma, sin, or any of the other barriers that prevent an authentic intimate experience of God’s love and the love of others. Unbound : a practical guide to Deliverance offers a person insight and healing into their story bringing Freedom in Christ. It is a model that uses a proven process of 5 steps to bring about a change in a person’s experience of freedom. During the session, an intercessor listens and prays. The leader listens to your story, then leads you through the 5 Keys: Statements of Repentance and Faith, Forgiveness, Renunciation of Lies, Taking Authority in Jesus’ Name, and Receiving the Father’s Blessing. You will take time to learn the 5 Keys ahead of your prayer session through reading part of the Unbound book by Neal Lozano, or listening to the audio talks on the 5 Keys, so that after your session, you can renew your freedom daily as those “red flags” rise again. You are training yourself in a new mindset and a new way of life to the full! The Encounter Ministry model is a model where you allow Jesus and the Holy Spirit to show you areas of your life that need healing. It is a gentle, interactive prayer between you and God. The prayer team does not know the details of your life, but rather you share what you are experiencing and name the lies that Jesus exposes so they can help you reject them in Jesus' name through the prayer model. Then you ask Jesus what truth He wants to give you in exchange for the lies you just renounced. You are led through prayers uniting you to each person of the Holy Trinity and healing your earthly family relationship memories to restore freedom and unity, while healing wounded memories, and replacing lies with truths. The intercessor listens and takes confidential notes of the truths that God reveals to you and emails them to you so that you can speak those truths out loud daily for 30 days. PHYSICAL HEALING MINISTRY JESUS IS THE DIVINE HEALER. HE ALWAYS DESIRES TO HEAL. Through physical healing prayer ministry and the power of intercession (coming into agreement), we assist others in their disposition of receptivity to meet Jesus in whatever gift He wants to give them. Not only do they experience love from the prayer team, but they are often able to receive a measurable level of healing or complete healing! God always says yes! to heal. However, His way of healing can look different for each individual. We have personally seen immediate healing, miraculous acceleration in healing, and delayed healing (a person discovers a healing suddenly in days or weeks after the prayer team). Sometimes, our healing comes after we die, when we are made new in the presence of God. We trust all to the wisdom of God, and how He knows each person so intimately and how best to draw them into relationship with Him and ultimately to share relationship in heaven forevermore. We have been amazed to be witnesses of more than 100 miracles, and to have heard testimonies of 100s more. Heaven is still open (after the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan) and we celebrate that we live in a time where the floodgates of mercy are open and miracles are being poured out every day! There has been hundreds we have witnessed and hundreds more that we have heard of from witnesses. These all belong to the community of believers and increase our faith! We are simply partnering with Him and it is in His name, and His Glorious Triumph, that people experience healing through intercession and commands of healing in the Name of Jesus. Throat/Swallowing Healed, Aberdeen, SD She was having a lot of pain and difficulty swallowing…a healing prayer team prayed with her and she kept saying over and over…now it is GONE! Thank you! Stomach Pain/Anxiety Healed, Aberdeen, SD She felt a pain in her stomach and some anxiety. After the prayer team, it isn’t there anymore! Knot on Thigh Healed, Aberdeen, SD He had a large knot above his knee that prevented him from kneeling. He had sought medical attention and they couldn’t do anything. The person on prayer team was moved in compassion that he should be playing on the floor with his little boy. After prayer, he was able to jump and do lunges!

ABOUT US MIKE MITZEL President, Mina, SD Mike is a native of Aberdeen, South Dakota, husband, father of 9, and grandfather of 9. He has been active in various aspects of ministry since high school and has a great love for the Church. He attained a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling where he worked with individuals, families, and multiple ethnic groups predominantly in the fast paced ever-changing environment of treatment centers. The Lord eventually lead him out of the counseling field and into service of the church through DRE / youth ministry work / Newman Center ministry. Mike has a passion for helping others find their true identity in the Lord as well as forming a relationship of constant communication with him. Mike’s life, and that of his family, has been transformed by the events and the two year school of discipleship and Evangelization and leadership training through Encounter Ministries and he is dedicated to helping others experience the fullness of life that the Lord is offering. He loves to dive into the practical application of our faith to our everyday lives so that we can be a transforming force in the world around us. It is his deep desire to live, and teach others how to live, in such a way that others know how the Lord loves them simply by interacting with us! Mike has completed Catherine of Siena Institute for Called & Gifted charism discernment as well as the Heart of the Father: Unbound Freedom in Christ, Basic Training, and Advanced Training to be equipped further in Inner Healing ministry and ministry to church staff/volunteers. He is currently finishing his ACT Trainer Certificate in Training Others to Hear God's voice in a 10-month school by Prophetic Company. TAMMY MITZEL Communications, Mina, SD Tammy is a homeschooling mom of nine with three children yet in the home. Her passion for evangelism began after high school, joining N.E.T. ministries for a year. During that year, worship through music became a very intimate way to enter into child-like joy, surrender and union with God. Her favorite place to be is attending Holy Mass with her family. Tammy’s passion for teaching others and sharing testimony about Jesus’ transforming love has been a theme of the last 30 years, through giving talks on Fatima and the Saints, identity, and assisting in various retreats. She is most excited to share and help others discover the transformation she has experienced through Encounter Ministries two year school of Discipleship and Evangelization and leader training! The solid and mature formation processes, coupled with the community of prayer support, solidified her identity in the Father’s love, promoted inner healing and renewal of mind and understanding of the particular charisms the Father is cultivating. She is thrilled to be a part of empowering disciples through God’s love, so that all in our sphere of influence can be invited to receive Jesus’ love and enter into fellowship with the lover of our souls. In her free time, she loves to network people together, as well as to get out in nature, especially on a good day-hike! COLE MITZEL Vice-President, Mina, SD Cole is the son of Mike and Tammy and is the fourth child out of the nine. He had a life changing encounter with the Lord on a Going Deeper retreat when he was seventeen years old. Since then, Cole has been very involved in his faith, attending many retreats and various trainings on ministry. His desire to share the love of God grew over the years but he really found his passion in ministry when he became a year - round Lumen Christi Missionary for the Diocese of Sioux Falls. To this day, Cole is very passionate in helping others learn to hear the Lord’s voice in their everyday lives and to realize the blessings God is speaking over them. Cole loves the outdoors and all activities the summer might hold, especially hiking. He also co-owns Lonely Goat Soap business as something he does on the side with others in his family. Cole has completed the two year Encounter school of Discipleship and Evangelization and leadership training, as well as the Heart of the Father:Unbound Freedom in Christ, Basic Training, and Advanced Training to be equipped further in Inner Healing ministry and ministry to church staff/volunteers. He has studied and been formed in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. He is currently finishing his ACT Trainer Certificate in Training Others to Hear God's voice in a 10-month school by Prophetic Company. TERI KEMMER Auxiliary Support Staff, Wentworth, SD As a Beloved Daughter of God and Spiritual Director, I am extremely blessed with my husband Jeff, two sons (Zak and Nik), a daughter-in-law (Phebe), two grandsons (Ezra and Axel) and Bexley, Nik's fiance. Inflamed with God’s love I am clay in the Potters’ hands and have given God permission to mold and use me to guide individuals into His Kingdom. The Holy Spirit is the true director as He prompts souls to respond to God’s will, model Christ’s and Mary’s lives, and take each step out of love for the other. I teach directees to hear the voice of God and the promptings of the Holy Spirit. My ignited faith, spiritual joy and holy boldness to share Jesus Christ’s healing presence and the power of the Holy Spirit was set ablaze during my first Encounter School of Healing training in the spring of 2018. I left with a resonating joy in my heart desiring to share what I had received. My primary charisms are counsel, teaching, intercessory and healing prayer and encouragement. Additional ministry and training includes: spiritual and physical healing prayer, directing Ignatian Silent Retreats and other Catholic retreats, Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, The Matthew Ministry, Catherine of Siena Institute for Called & Gifted charism discernment, and Basic Directions in Native Ministry from the Sioux Spiritual Center. Originally from South Dakota, we returned after I retired from an active duty Army career as a dietitian of 22+ years. RACHEL MARK Auxiliary Support Staff, Brookings, SD Rachel Mark is a blessed wife (to Scott) and mom of a little kiddo. She holds a Master of Divinity from St. John's University in Collegeville, MN and had served for many years in youth and campus ministry in Nebraska, Minnesota and South Dakota. In the last several years, the Lord has called her into a new ministry of healing prayer, where she meets with individuals for both physical and inner healing. In May of 2022, she completed a Certificate in Healing and Prophetic Ministry from the Encounter School of Ministry in Brighton, Michigan. She feels honored to be able to partner with the Holy Spirit and journey with people receiving healing. She is constantly amazed at the work the Lord is doing to heal people's hearts and bring them into a closer relationship with Himself!

PROPHECY AND HEARING GOD'S VOICE WHEN WE ENCOUNTER GOD, HE INVITES US TO DEEPEN OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM. When we spend time in prayer, we learn to discern God’s voice from our own and other influences in our own prayer life. Restoration Ministries of SD leads others to grow in confidence in hearing God’s voice and realize that God desires a personal relationship with them. John 10:27 and Acts 2:16-17 gives us the truth and confidence we can hear His voice: "My sheep hear my voice." and "I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh." and 1Cor14:1,3 instructs us that we should intentionally pursue it for the ever so needed strength, courage and comfort of the Church. "Pursue and strive for the spiritual gifts, and especially that you might prophesy...speak to other people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation." In showing and demonstrating various ways the Lord speaks in our training seminars, one finds that conversation with God is a daily occurrence. When you place everyday concerns before God and receive a response from Him, it brings the Christian life to a new level of freedom. Once we learn to hear God’s voice for ourselves, we learn how to enter into the Father’s compassion for others. We are then able to hear and deliver the Father’s words of encouragement to them. This gift of prophecy (hearing the voice of God for others), as given by the Holy Spirit, is ALWAYS to build up the body of Christ in the Church…never to convict a person in sin or behavior. (The Holy Spirit through scripture convicts the heart. We do not take that job or use any words that lack encouragement.) Proper and prudent boundaries as well as discernment are also taught so that we are operating in a safe manner. It is always expected that when a person is the receiver of an encouraging word from another person, they are responsible to discern the word and decide for themselves if the word will build good fruit, and they want to receive the word, or if they freely want to reject the word. Therefore, there is not any fear in sharing with others in a positive way as a disciple.
